What are the qualifications for entry into the program?
The REAP program is open to candidates from multicultural/minority backgrounds - defined as Black or African American, Hispanic or Latinx, Asian, Native American, Native Hawaiian or Pacific Islander, and Middle Eastern descent. A bachelor's degree and at least one year of professional experience is required. Preference is given to applicants who have experience with financial statements and budgeting, and backgrounds in project management, negotiation, and sales are helpful. However, experience in real estate is not required.
How does the application process work?
All applications/resumes are reviewed by a screening committee made up of alumni, professionals, instructors and/or sponsor companies. For the in-person format, interviews may be held with short-listed candidates. Candidates who pass the interview process are selected for the program. The process is competitive and not every applicant is admitted for any particular academy.
What is the typical class size?
In-person classes are typically 30-35 students selected from the initial group of applicants. The online format is larger.
How might I get a job through my educational experience through REAP?
REAP industry supporters and associations such as the ULI District Councils may invite you to a wide variety of networking activities in order for you to make contacts with executives and REAP alumni. In addition, REAP regularly receives job postings from firms interested in the program and shares these postings with its graduates. REAP graduates will also be invited to join an online alumni network once the program has ended.
What is the tuition? What does tuition cover?
Hybrid tuition has been $1,100.00 due upon acceptance to the program. The Virtual format tuition is $900.00 exclusive of any applicable early application discount. Tuition covers classroom sessions, site visits, professional textbooks and instructors' materials, and REAP networking and counseling events. The online format tuition includes one year of membership in ULI.
What methods of payment are accepted for tuition?
PayPal, Credit, Debit, or Check are accepted. Tuition is due within a few days of notification of program acceptance. There are no arrangements for installment payments. If I decide, after acceptance into the program, that I am not satisfied with my experience, or if I am asked to withdraw, may I get a tuition refund?

How do I apply for admission?
Online applications open about two months before the beginning of the course in each program city. Fill out the contact form here if you want to be notified when applications open in your market or for the online format.
Is my application information kept confidential?
Information is shared only with the industry professionals that assist REAP in evaluating applicants.
How long does the course run?
About 10 weeks, two evenings a week for the in-person format. The online format runs 8 weeks.
What happens if I should miss a class?
Attendance at all classes, site visits, and networking events is critical to success in the course. Limited, excused absences are permitted, however failure to maintain consistent attendance will disqualify a candidate from receiving REAP's Certificate of Completion, and may result in the student being asked to withdraw.
Does the REAP course give me credit towards industry certifications such as the CSM, RPA, or CCIM?
No, but REAP's website may direct you toward industry programs that will count towards industry certifications. REAP graduates are given a Certificate of Completion.
Is REAP an Associate's Degree program?
No, REAP is an executive education program for professionals holding undergraduate and/or advanced degrees.
In addition to regular and prompt attendance, study, and active networking at events, what else is needed to be a successful REAP fellow?
REAP is looking for the characteristics of successful real estate professionals: self-starters who enjoy competition and are comfortable with the protocol of corporate America.
