The ULI/REAP Academy is open to candidates from multicultural/minority backgrounds - defined as Black or African American, Hispanic or Latinx, Asian, Native American, Native Hawaiian or Pacific Islander, and Middle Eastern descent. English-speaking professionals of comparable multicultural backgrounds in overseas markets -- such as the Caribbean, Latin America and Europe -- are welcome to apply. They should determine if their schedules can adapt to the time zone differences of the live webinar sessions, which are conducted between 5 pm to 6:30 pm Eastern Standard Time (EST), the New York City time zone.
Is there an interview process?
No. Applications will be carefully reviewed and candidates will then be notified of acceptance status.
When will I be notified of acceptance after application submission?
Applicants will be notified early/mid April.
Will there be a timeframe given to make the required payment?
Tuition will be due no later than April 15, 2022.
Once I am accepted into the academy, how do I access my course?
Once accepted, you will receive a notification from ULI. Go to learning.uli.org, ensure you are logged in, and you will see all courses you are registered for under the “My Courses” tab in the left side menu.

What are the program dates?
The course will run from April 28 - June 23, 2022.
What days are classes?
A 90-minute live session occurs weekly on Mondays and Thursdays, from 5 - 6:30 pm EST (replays available). The additional components (which will include video instruction and downloadable resources) are offered on-demand, so you may complete at your own discretion on a weekly basis. Participants should expect to spend approximately four to six hours per week.
What can I expect as a participant of the ULI/REAP Academy?
ULI/REAP Fall Academy graduates will receive a joint certificate of completion from ULI & REAP. You will receive access to local REAP events in your market, in addition to a 1 year membership to ULI.
Where can I find and how do I complete assignments?
Once you have selected the course under “My Courses”, click the “Assignments” tab, and you will see all of the assignments and their due dates.
Does it matter when I complete assignments?
You can complete the assignments in the order they are accessible to you. Live events will have a date and time denoted and you should join the webinar via the link at the appointed time if you are able. If not, you will be able to view an archived version in the same location.
What do I do if a video isn’t playing when I click the link?
Try clearing the history of your browser, and relaunching the browser, then clicking again.
How do I complete quizzes?
Quizzes will show up in your list of assignments, with any applicable due date shown. An 80% must be earned to pass quizzes, and you are allowed 3 attempts.
