REAP Academy
The REAP Academy is the flagship program of Project REAP, designed to equip high-potential professionals with the knowledge, connections, and confidence to succeed in the commercial real estate industry. Through a competitive selection process, Fellows gain access to expert-led instruction, practical training, and meaningful exposure to leaders across the field.
Since 1998, more than 2,000 professionals have launched or accelerated their careers through the Academy, joining a respected network that continues to provide career advancement opportunities through our Alumni Fellows program.
Fellows participate in hybrid programming with in-market experiences offered in Atlanta, Boston, Chicago, Cleveland, Columbus, Dallas/Fort Worth, Kansas City (MO), Los Angeles, New York City, and Washington, D.C., along with a virtual track for out-of-market participants.

What You'll Learn
Fellows begin the Academy with a live class that introduces the syllabus and asynchronous curriculum from ULI Learning, the Urban Land Institute’s online education platform. The ULI Learning modules provide a rigorous foundation in commercial real estate, while REAP’s live online classes twice per week expand on that content through case studies, applied learning, and interactive discussions. Fellows also engage in market-based programming—such as site tours, industry panels, trade association events, and sponsor or partner engagements—with a 100% virtual track available for out-of-market participants.
Combining ULI Learning modules with REAP-led live instruction, the Academy curriculum covers:
Real estate finance, underwriting, and valuation
Development, redevelopment, and mixed-use projects
Property types: retail, industrial, multifamily, and affordable housing
Brokerage, leasing, property management, and capital markets

A New Pathway for Pro Athletes
Project REAP is also launching 3P – Pro Players Property, a first-of-its-kind program designed specifically for current and former NBA, NFL, and WNBA athletes who are ready to lead in commercial real estate as investors, developers, and decision-makers.
Building on REAP’s legacy of training and access, 3P addresses the unique transition and wealth-building needs of professional athletes.

Through exclusive initiatives like REAP Board Builders, REAP Business Links, REAP Culture Club, and REAP Speak, Alumni Fellows are supported in building influence, expanding their networks, and advancing their careers.
REAP Board Builders
REAP Board Builders prepares Alumni Fellows for leadership roles on civic, nonprofit, and corporate boards. Through specialized training, Fellows develop the skills needed to contribute across sectors while increasing their professional visibility and long-term impact.
REAP Business Links
REAP Business Links strengthens professional relationships through networking events centered around activities like golf and tennis. These informal settings create space for Alumni Fellows to connect with peers and industry professionals, sparking opportunities for mentorship and business growth.
REAP Culture Club
REAP Culture Club builds community among Alumni Fellows through shared arts and cultural experiences. From exhibitions to live performances, Fellows engage with cultural programming while strengthening both personal and professional connections.
